Minnesooota State Fair :-)

Although I've moved away from Minnesota, I always try to go back and catch the fair every year. This year it was over labor day weekend and the weather was perfect and food delicious. We entered where the animals are located which made that our first stop. We started with the pigs and ended with the cows... fyi, after touring the livestock my husband declared himself a vegetarian and hasn't eaten any meat since.

While wondering around we stopped at the Kare11 booth and saw Andrew Zimmer (for the second year in a row I might add :-) ). I took a creeper photo which is posted below.
On to the food! A nice thing about going to the fair with more than two people is that you can sample more food. My husband and I went with my parents and we ate cheese curds, alligator, fries, pickles, footlong hot dogs, and mini donuts. In previous years we had deep fried candy bars and I'm really regretting we didn't get one this year. Below are some pictures of the scrumptious food we ate :-)

Overall we had a great trip to the fair. We only went for a few hours, as we had to squeeze many things in that same weekend. Next time, we are certainly going for longer, eating more food, drinking more beer, and going on more rides :-)
